9.1.1.1. SAP Syntax

Context

Description

This command specifies the physical port identifier portion of the SAP definition.

Parameters

sap-id—

Specifies the physical port identifier portion of the SAP definition.

The sap-id can be configured in one of the formats listed in Table 112.

The values depend on the encapsulation type configured for the interface. Table 113 describes the allowed values for the port and encapsulation types.

Notes:

A 0 qtag1 value also accepts untagged packets on the dot1q port.
A 0 qtag1 value is allowed with some 7210 SAS platforms. See Configuration Guidelines for 7210 SAS-D and 7210 SAS-Dxp and Configuration Guidelines for 7210 SAS-K 2F1C2T, 7210 SAS-K 2F6C4T, and 7210 SAS-K 3SFP+ 8C for information about platforms and frame processing.
A 0 qtag2 value is allowed only on 7210 SAS-K platforms as described in Configuration Guidelines for 7210 SAS-K 2F1C2T, 7210 SAS-K 2F6C4T, and 7210 SAS-K 3SFP+ 8C.
