Service provisioning tasks can be logically separated into two main functional areas, core tasks and subscriber tasks and are typically performed before provisioning a subscriber service.
Core tasks include the following:
Create customer accounts
Create template QoS, filter, scheduler, and accounting policies
Create SDPs (if using MPLS uplinks)
Subscriber services tasks include the following:
Create Epipe and VPLS services.
Create a VPRN service
Bind SDPs (if using MPLS uplinks)
Configure interfaces (where required) and SAPs
Create exclusive QoS and filter policies
