This command creates a text description for a configuration context to help identify the content in the configuration file.
The no form of this command removes any description string from the context.
Specifies the description character string. Strings can be up to 160 characters composed of printable, 7-bit ASCII characters. If the string contains special characters (#, $, spaces, and so on), the entire string must be enclosed within double quotes.

This command administratively disables an entity. When disabled, an entity does not change, reset, or remove any configuration settings or statistics.
The operational state of the entity is disabled as well as the operational state of any entities contained within.
The no form of this command administratively enables an entity.

When the no shutdown command is issued in the config>redundancy>multi-chassis>peer>mc-lag context, resources are allocated to enable the node to process the protocol.
The resources are deallocated when you issue the config>redundancy>multi-chassis>peer>mc-lag>shutdown command.
