1.2 STS3 / TUG with TU3 payload

To configure a DS1 on an STS3 / TUG with a TU3 payload:

1. Configure an STS3 path on the port.

2. Create a TU3 path with the default payload.

3. Create the TDM DS3 with channelized DS1.

4. Create the TDM DS1.

Use the info command to display configuration information.

             framing sdh
             path sts3
                 no shutdown
             exit
             path tu3-1
                no shutdown
            exit
        exit
        tdm
            ds3 1
                channelized ds1
                no shutdown
            exit
            ds1 1.1
                no shutdown
            exit
        exit

Notes:

• The CLI identifier for the TDM ds1 command is similar to that of the path command, namely, tugNum.vtGroupNum.ds1Num, where:

  • ds1Num is equal to vtNum
