Weighted ECMP for EVPN

ECMP for Layer 2 unicast traffic on Epipe and VPLS services for EVPN-MPLS destinations is enabled using the config>service>epipe>bgp-evpn>mpls>auto-bind-tunnel>ecmp command or config>service>vpls>bgp-evpn>mpls>auto-bind-tunnel>ecmp command. These commands allow the resolution of an EVPN-MPLS next hop to a group of ECMP tunnels of type RSVP-TE or SR-TE.

Weighted ECMP is enabled using the config>service>epipe>bgp-evpn>mpls> auto-bind-tunnel>weighted-ecmp command or config>service>vpls>bgp-evpn>mpls>auto-bind-tunnel>weighted-ecmp command. These commands allow packets to be sprayed across LSPs in the ECMP set according to the outcome of the hash algorithm and the configured load-balancing weight of each LSP.

EVPN VPWS ECMP and weighted ECMP behave like a non-EVPN Layer 2 Epipe and perform per-service ID hashing.

EVPN VPLS ECMP and weighted ECMP behave like a non-EVPN Layer 2 VPLS and perform per-service ID hashing but also include an internal egress ID.
