Configurable parameters

As well as to backup IP addresses, to facilitate configuration of a virtual router on Nokia routers, the following parameters can be defined in owner configurations:

• Virtual Router ID (VRID)

• Message Interval and Master Inheritance

• VRRP Message Authentication

• Authentication Data

• Virtual MAC Address

The following parameters can be defined in non-owner configurations:

• Virtual Router ID (VRID)

• Priority

• Message Interval and Master Inheritance

• Master Down Interval

• Preempt Mode
