SR OS supports the OSPF option for ZTP. The network element identifier (NEID) is configured using the chassis MAC address and the network element IP address (NEIP) is derived from the NEID. The first few slots and ports are auto-provisioned and the ZTP process tries to establish OSPF adjacency on these slots and ports to communicate the node information using type 10 opaque LSAs.
