Procedure to boot when the BOF is present locally

About this task

This section describes the procedure to boot the 7210 SAS after a reboot, when the BOF and image files are present locally, or when the node is shipped from factory with a BOF and an image on the flash.

Procedure

Execute a reboot of the 7210 SAS device. The system starts booting and the following console output is displayed.

Hit a key within 1 second to change boot parameters...

At the prompt, wait until the specified wait time has elapsed. The boot process can be interrupted at the prompt if necessary to change the boot parameters (for example, the image location). In this example, it is assumed that changes to the BOF are not required.
