Interface Configuration Process

Table 1 lists the tasks necessary to configure IOMs and XCMs (also referred to as cards), MDAs and XMAs, and ports.

Note:

For consistency across platforms, XMAs are modeled in the SR OS (CLI and SNMP) as MDAs.
