Figure 1 shows the format of the CESoPSN TDM payload (with and without CAS) for packets carrying trunk-specific 64 kb/s service. In CESoPSN, the payload size is dependent on the number of timeslots used. This is not applicable to TDM satellite because only unstructured DS1/E1 is supported.
