CFM OAM must be explicitly disabled in order for an ITU-T Y.1564 test or Ethernet SAP loopback to be operational. You can enable a Y.1564 test head or Ethernet SAP loopback, or enable CFM OAM, but not both simultaneously (see Table: ITU-T Y.1564 Protocol Interaction).
